Does the Lord speak to you?

Recently one day, as I sat down for lunch in the quietness of my kitchen, the Lord started speaking to me, not audibly, but in my spirit, which is normally the way I hear His voice… so I grabbed pen and paper. He said, I am looking for strong teams! Married couples, walking in purity who are laid down lovers of Jesus. In this hour, these seasoned ones will lead the younger into true freedom, fruitfulness, and faithfulness. Put on your humility lenses, not focusing on flaws.

Just like a photographer blurs out the background to focus on the beauty of the predominant image, so we are called to focus on the beauty of others’ hearts and not on their flaws or baggage. It’s time for new lenses in the Body.

This is not a season we want to drag our baggage into. Instead, we let our heavenly Daddy take the alcohol pad and wipe every piece of hurt and dirt from us, even if it’s painful. We are preparing for surgery to remove anything foreign lodged inside of us that is harmful. We ask you to dust off the debris and clear the clutter! I hear the Lord in my spirit say… "Awaken!” 

My heart is to encourage each of us to ask Jesus if there are things in our lives that need cleaned up or dreams that need reawakened inside of us…then be ready to say “Yes” no matter what the cost. Let’s open our hearts to the broken and love beyond ourselves with the love of Jesus!
